It has become increasingly clear that diversity of health care policy across the nation has resulted in a patchwork of state legislation that, over time, has not kept pace with the needs of those suffering from chronic conditions and diseases.
CCPA believes health status should not be the basis for any form of discrimination. People with chronic conditions should be afforded the same access to care as the non-chronically ill, independent of age, ethnicity or socio-economic status. Therefore, CCPA is dedicated to improving health care access, quality and affordability for those living with chronic conditions. Our policy briefs, testimony and educational videos amplify the patient voice and advocate for needed policy solutions.
