Proposed rules from CMS

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) establishes regulations or modifies the way it administers its programs on an ongoing basis. Changes in CMS’ regulations may impact providers or suppliers of services, or the individuals enrolled or entitled to benefits under CMS programs. A “proposed rule” or proposed regulation announces CMS’ intent to issue a new regulation or modify an existing regulation and solicits public comments during a comment period.

CCPA monitors and comments on proposed rules to support or oppose those rules depending on how we believe the proposed rule will impact those with chronic health conditions.
