As part of our continued advocacy for the chronic disease community, the Chronic Care Policy Alliance (CCPA) has submitted letters to the Administration and four Congressional committees outlining our mid-year policy priorities. These communications reinforce the need for reforms that lower costs, expand access, and center the voices of patients in national health policy.
Our letters to the Administration, Senate Finance Committee, Senate HELP Committee, House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee, and House Ways & Means Health Subcommittee focus on protecting Medicare innovation, restoring the original intent of the 340B program, increasing PBM transparency, and addressing chronic conditions like obesity through multidisciplinary care. As policy conversations continue in the second half of the year, CCPA is working to ensure that the needs of people with chronic conditions help shape the direction of federal health policy.
