Healthcare policy can have huge impacts on patients. Policy good or bad can change health care delivery, quality, access, and affordability.  A new policy can inadvertently create undue barriers and significant hurdles for patients in need and disproportionately impact individuals with chronic diseases and other disparities. Or, a policy can correct inadequacies or inequities in the healthcare delivery system. CCPA raises the patients’ voices to ensure patients are always the focal point of any proposed policy. All patients must have equal access to health care services independent of age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, or health status. These issues are at the forefront of what we do.
