Today, the Chronic Care Policy Alliance (CCPA) submitted two letters to congressional committees ahead of hearings examining insurance practices and their impact on patients living with chronic and serious health conditions.
In these letters, CCPA highlights ongoing concerns related to affordability, access to care, utilization management, and insurance practices that can create unnecessary barriers for patients. As lawmakers continue their oversight of health insurance practices, CCPA urges Congress to prioritize transparency, accountability, and reforms that put patients first.
