In New Jersey, cancer doesn’t affect every community equally. Some have far fewer options for screenings, and that can mean later diagnoses and worse outcomes. Multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests can change that, finding dozens of cancers early with just a blood draw. Rep. Pou is working for access.

The Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act (H.R. 842) ensures Medicare has the ability to cover these tests, expanding access to the most advanced screening technology. With over 300 cosponsors in Congress, this bill has strong momentum, and it should be urgently passed into law.
