For many in Iowa, getting a cancer screening means traveling for hours. MCED tests can change that — finding dozens of different cancers with just a simple blood draw. Rep. Miller-Meeks is now leading the way for access.
The Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act (H.R. 842) would allow Medicare to cover these tests, giving Iowa seniors access to cutting-edge detection no matter where they live. With over 300 cosponsors in the House, Rep. Miller-Meek’s bill has strong bipartisan support, and it should be urgently passed into law.
